Unipipe IRL Ltd. Heat Pump Service Terms and Conditions
1. Service Description:
Unipipe IRL Ltd, as the sole supplier for NIBE heat pumps in Ireland, provides comprehensive service and support for NIBE heat pump systems. Our services encompass annual heat pump system service and maintenance, installation support, commissioning, installer training, troubleshooting, and repairs.
2. Service Scope:
Our service extends to NIBE heat pump systems supplied by Unipipe IRL Ltd, ensuring compatibility and availability of genuine NIBE spare parts.
Please note that plumbing and electrical works are not within our remit and must be carried out by a qualified installer or relevant professional. We can provide advice and guidance on these matters.
3. Service Request:
Customers can request NIBE heat pump servicing by contacting Unipipe IRL Ltd through our designated channels, including phone, email, or online service request form.
The most efficient channel to request a service is through the online service request form, which collects all relevant information needed for prompt and accurate scheduling.
Service requests are subject to scheduling availability, and appointments will be confirmed based on our service team’s availability.
When making a service request, please provide the serial number of your heat pump system for warranty and service records.
We collect credit or debit card information to secure your booking within our system. This information is securely stored on an encrypted banking application and retained only for the duration necessary to fulfil your booking.
4. Service Charges:
We provide quotes for the call-out and service of your heat pump system prior to the service appointment. However, please be aware that these quotes are estimates, and the final costs may vary. The exact costs cannot be determined until our engineer assesses the system onsite.
While we strive to provide accurate estimates, unforeseen circumstances or additional requirements may impact the final cost of the service. Rest assured, any adjustments to the quote will be communicated and agreed upon with the customer before proceeding with the service.
5. Payment Terms:
Payment for Unipipe IRL Ltd. services are due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
The credit or debit card provided at the time of booking will be charged within 24 hours of the invoice being sent to the customer. Please note that engineers cannot accept cash payments onsite.
We also accept payment via bank transfer, with payment details provided on the invoice.
6. Cancellation Policy:
Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling of service appointments to avoid any cancellation fees.
Cancellation fees may be applied if the engineer arrives for the allocated service on the scheduled day, and the customer is not home or cannot provide access to the heat pump system.
Failure to provide sufficient notice or access may result in a cancellation fee being applied.
7. Warranty and Guarantee:
We offer a warranty period for serviced parts and repairs, as specified in the NIBE warranty terms.
The NIBE warranty period applies to spare parts used in our service, ensuring quality and reliability.
Our commitment to quality ensures that our workmanship and materials used during servicing meet the highest standards.
8. Customer Obligations:
Customers are responsible for providing access to the NIBE heat pump system and any relevant documentation or information necessary for servicing.
Additionally, customers are advised to ensure any recommended works, such as plumbing or electrical tasks, are carried out by a relevant professional prior to our call-out. This ensures that the system is ready for the necessary service to be carried out by Unipipe IRL Ltd.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure a safe environment for the service engineer and to ensure sufficient access to the heat pump system to carry out the requested service.
9. Limitation of Liability:
While Unipipe IRL Ltd endeavours to provide high-quality service, we shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of data, or property damage arising from the use of our services.
In the event of a breakdown, where we assist the customer in putting their system into emergency mode to provide heating and hot water until an engineer is available or required spare parts are in stock, we do not accept responsibility for any extra costs incurred while the system is in backup mode.
We endeavour to rectify the system as quickly as possible to minimise inconvenience and additional costs for the customer.
10. Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes or disagreements regarding our NIBE heat pump services shall be resolved through amicable negotiation between Unipipe IRL Ltd and the customer.
11. Modification of Terms:
Unipipe IRL Ltd reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other ncommunication channels.
