How the 5 Year Warranty Works
Your NIBE heat pump is eligible for up to 5 years’ warranty cover when a few simple steps are followed.
✔ Step 1 – Install & Commission Correctly
Installed and commissioned by a NIBE-trained / Unipipe-accredited installer.
✔ Step 2 – Register Within 28 Days
Register your system online within 28 days of installation.
✔ Step 3 – Service Annually
Arrange annual servicing every 12 months with Unipipe or an approved NIBE Warranty Service Partner.
These steps help protect your warranty, improve efficiency and extend the life of your system.
Standard Manufacturer Warranty – 2 Years
Every NIBE heat pump system includes a standard 2-year manufacturer warranty from the date of delivery, covering parts and labour for manufacturing defects.
This applies where the extended 5-year warranty conditions have not been met.
Annual servicing is required to maintain this warranty.
What’s Not Covered Under Warranty
We believe in being clear and transparent about warranty coverage.
Below are some common situations where warranty cover may not apply:
The system was not installed or commissioned by a NIBE-trained / Unipipe-accredited installer
Annual servicing has not been carried out in line with warranty requirements
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, frost, pests, or environmental exposure
Issues arising from third-party components, controls, or unauthorised modifications
Problems related to poor system water quality or contamination, outside NIBE installation guidelines
Normal wear-and-tear items or consumables
