How to find your heat pump serial number

We need your serial number to find your system and help you quickly. It takes about a minute. Follow the steps for your model below.

What you are looking for A 14 digit number, often shown after S/N, for example 01234567890123. Tip: take a photo of it so you can copy it into the form without mistakes.

Which one do I have?

S-SeriesColour touchscreen that you swipe and tap, like a phone.
F-SeriesSmall display with a round control knob and OK and back buttons.
Outdoor unitBox outside with a large fan, part of an air to water system. No screen.

Touchscreen models

S-Series

For example S735, VVM S320, VVM S500, SMO S40, S1155, S1255

On the screen

  1. Go to the home screen.
  2. Swipe left or right with your finger to move through the pages.
  3. Stop on the Product overview page.
  4. Your serial number is shown there, along with the product name and software version.

On the unit

On the VVM S320 and VVM S500 the label is at the bottom right of the unit. On other models look for the label on the unit itself, its position varies by model.

Control knob models

F-Series

For example F730, F750, F360, VVM 310, VVM 320, SMO 40, F1145, F1245

On the screen

  1. Turn the control knob to menu 3, INFO and press OK.
  2. Select menu 3.1, service info and press OK.
  3. Turn the knob to scroll through to the last page.
  4. Your serial number is shown there.

On the unit

On the F730, the label is at the bottom right of the front cover.

SMO 40 control module: the label is on the top of the control module cover.

Older models F360, F410, F310, F205 and F200: the label is inside the unit, behind the front cover. Please do not remove the cover. Use menu 3.1 on the screen, or contact us.

Air to water systems

Outdoor unit

For example S2125, F2040, F2050, F2120

If your system has an outdoor unit as well as the indoor unit with the screen, the outdoor unit has its own serial number. It is printed on a sticker on the unit, not on a screen.

Where to look

  1. Stand in front of the unit, fan facing you.
  2. Check the sides, low down near the base or feet. On many models it is on the right hand end.
  3. If it is not there, check the back of the unit.
  4. Look for a white sticker with S/N, a 14 digit number and a barcode. Take a photo of it.

Please stay safe

Do not remove any covers or panels, and keep hands away from the fan. If the sticker is hard to reach, faded or missing, just leave it blank and send us the number from the indoor screen instead.

Found it? Save it for next time

Write your serial number on the Unipipe service sticker on your heat pump. Then it is always there when you need it, for your annual service or if you ever need to contact us. Use a permanent marker so it does not fade.
