How to Apply for Your SEAI Heat Pump Grant

To secure your SEAI heat pump grant, it’s essential to receive approval before starting any installation work. You can apply online via the SEAI Home Energy Grants page or by post.

What you’ll need to apply:

  • Your MPRN number (found on your electricity bill)
  • A completed SEAI Application Form
  • The name of your SEAI Approved Contractor

Once your grant is approved, your chosen SEAI-registered installer will work with Unipipe to provide a full technical design and bespoke product specification tailored to your home or business. This ensures the heat pump system is designed specifically for your property.

Requirements for a bespoke design:

  • House plans, including elevations, cut sections, or adequate sketches with all dimensions and room types
  • The BER Dwelling Report (provided by your Technical Advisor after assessment)
  • A list of all radiator sizes and types to determine flow rates (if the property has underfloor heating, it is considered suitable for heat pumps)

SEAI Grant Support from Unipipe

Unipipe’s technical team will support you throughout the grant application process by providing all the necessary technical calculations and documentation to complete the SEAI application form. Your installer must sign off on the installation, ensuring that everything is carried out according to the technical designs provided, ensuring optimal system performance.
